Itinerary

Day 1 - Christchurch
You will be met on arrival at the Christchurch airport and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to explre the Garden City. (Scenic Circle Fino Casementi All Suite Hotel or similar)

Day 2 - Hanmer Springs
You head north this morning passing through the Waipara Valley to your accommodation at Hanmer Springs. You can spend the afternoon relaxing in the hot mineral waters of the Spa.

Day 3 - Blenheim
It's north again this morning stopping at Kaikoura to go Whale Watching (at own cost and weather permitting).  You will visit a Seal Colony then continue on to your accommodation at Blenheim. (Scenic Circle Blenheim Country Hotel or similar - Breakfast Included)

Day 4 - Blenheim
This morning can be spent exploring the Blenheim Shopping Centre and this afternoon you will be taken on a tour of some of Marlborough's many wineries. (Scenic Circle Blenheim Country Hotel or similar - Breakfast Included)

Day 5 - Nelson
Your journey heads East and South this morning, passing through Havelock, Canvass Town and the Rai Valley as you make your way to the Sunshine City, Nelson. (Rutherford Hotel Nelson or similar - Breakfast Included)

Day 6 - Nelson
Today is a free day for you to explore this historic town at your leisure. (Rutherford Hotels Nelson or similar - Breakfast Included)

Day 7 - Greymouth
You will pass through Inangahua Junction and continue south to Westport.  You will also visit the Pancake Rocks at Punakaiki, then it's on to Greymouth, the largest town on the rugged West Coast. (Kingsgate Hotel or similar - Breakfast Included)

Day 8 - Christchurch
This morning is free to explore Greymouth at your leisure then this afternoon you will board the Alpine Express, one of the top 10 rail journeys in the world, to cross the Southern Alps to Christchurch. You will be met at the Christchurch Railway Station and transferred to your accommodation. (Scenic Circle Fino Casementi All Suite Hotel or similar - Breakfast Included)

Day 9 - Depart
Today you will be transferred to the Christchurch airport for your flight home.

Cancellation and Refunds

A non-refundable deposit equal to 25% of the full price of your tour is required to secure your booking and the balance is to be paid on the first day of your tour.

Because your deposit is non-refundable I recommend that you arrange your travel insurance prior to paying your deposit.  It is also recommended that your travel insurance should cover the loss of your non-refundable deposit, should some unforeseen circumstance arise which makes it impossible for you to continue with your tour after your deposit payment has been paid.

Archer Tours reserves the right to alter/replace any part of the tour in the event of any adverse weather or road conditions.
