Day 1 Christchurch
You will be met at the Christchurch International Airport and transferred to your hotel. (Scenic Circle Fino Casementi All Suite Hotel or similar)

Day 2 Greymouth
Travel on the Tranz Alpine Express, known as on of the top 10 train journeys in the world, to Greymouth on the West Coast. (Kingsgate hotel or similar - Breakfast Included)

Day 3 Franz Josef Glacier
Follow the West Coast and the Southern Alps stopping at Hokitika the Jade Capital of New Zealand before continuing on to the Franz Josef Glacier. (Scenic Circle Franz Josef Glacier Hotel or similar - Breakfast Included)

Day 4 Queenstown
Cross the Southern Alps again, this time at Haast Pass to Lake Wanaka then onto Queenstown. (Scenic Circle Aurum Hotel & Suites or similar - Breakfast Included)

Day 5 Queenstown
Take a tour of the Queenstown area in the morning, including Arrowtown, then have a free afternoon to explore at your leisure. (Scenic Circle Aurum Hotel & Suites or similar - Breakfast Included)

Day 6 Queenstown – Milford Sounds – Queenstown
Travel south to Lake Te Anau, then cross the Southern Alps again, this time through the Homer Tunnel to Milford Sounds. You will enjoy a buffet lunch while taking a 90-minute cruise through the Sounds before returning to Queenstown for the night. Day 7 Omarama
Head north this morning through the Lindis Pass to Omarama, "The Place of Light". If weather conditions premit you can enjoy a Glider flight in the pristine, clear air,(own cost).  (Heritage Gateway Hotel - Breakfast Included)

Day 8 Christchurch
It's north to Mount Cook, Lake Pukaki, Lake Tekapo and back to Christchurch.  (Scenic Circle Fino Casementi All Suite Hotel or similar - Breakfast Included)

Day 9 Blenheim
You continue north this morning to Blenheim, the heart of the Marlborough wine-producing region with the opportunity to go Whale Watching at Kaikoura (own cost). (Scenic Circle Blenheim Country Hotel or similar - Breakfast Included)

Day 10 Wellington
You will board the Cook Strait Ferry this morning for a 3-hour cruise through the breathtaking scenery of the Marlborough Sounds as you make your way to our Capital City. After checking into your hotel the rest of the day is at your leisure to explore this vibrating city. (Museum Hotel or similar - Breakfast Included)

Day 11 Rotorua
Heading north again this morning you will travel along the Desert Road passing by our three active volcanoes and along the shores of Lake Taupo, our largest lake, then on to your accommodation in the Maori Cultural Capital of New Zealand. Day 12 Rotorua
Visit the Agrodome Sheep Show , Rainbow Springs Nature Park, Government Gardens and Te Puia Maori Cultural Centre and in the evening go to a Maori Concert and enjoy a Hangi meal.  (Royal Lakeside Novotel Hotel or similar - Dinner and Breakfast Included)

Day 13 Auckland
You leave Rotorua today for Auckland via the Waitomo Glow Worm Cave and the Hamilton Gardens. (Copthorne Hotel Auckland Harbour City or similar - Breakfast Included)

Day 14 Auckland
An Auckland City tour in the morning and the afternoon is at your leisure. (Copthorne Hotel Auckland Harbour City or similar - Breakfast Included)

Day 15 Auckland

Cancellation and Refunds

A non-refundable deposit equal to 25% of the full price of your tour is required to secure your booking and the balance is to be paid on the first day of your tour.

Because your deposit is non-refundable I recommend that you arrange your travel insurance prior to paying your deposit. It is also recommended that your travel insurance should cover the loss of your non-refundable deposit, should some unforeseen circumstance arise which makes it impossible for you to continue with your tour after your deposit payment has been paid.

Archer Tours reserves the right to alter/replace any part of the tour in the event of any adverse weather or road conditions.
